Wedding FAQ's
Here are a few answers to commonly asked questions.
1. I hate photos, and I hate posing, can we just do candid?
Yes! Of course it can be done. I want you to feel relaxed and get some beautiful photos. That's why I also have my trusty zoom so I can take those candids from a bit further back as well as my other lens for the lovely closer up photos.
2. Can we meet before booking so I know what you are like?
Yes! I totally understand why you would want to do this, so fill in the enquiry form and we can organise a time to meet up over coffee.
3. How much will my wedding cost? How can I pay for it?
I have Custom Packages to suit, but can also work within your budget. Payment Plans are available to make it easier for you to pay. See my full wedding packages for pricing.
4. How will I receive my photographs?
Your online gallery will be sent you with a secure and personalised link. This is for you to view and choose the photos you want printed. I can also make a beautiful album for you to look back on your special day.
5. Who is Raewyn Murray Photography?
Raewyn is the main photographer and ocassionally I need my husband David, for second photographer. I do know some videographers who can come aboard if you ever need one.
6. Do you offer videography?
Yes, I have a few videographers that I know who could team up with me. Talk to us for more information.
7. When will I receive my photographs?
A few days after your Wedding you will receive a 'sneak peak'. Within 6-8 weeks after your wedding day you will be able to come and view your online gallery.
8. Do you charge for travel?
Most times travel is included. We can discuss this at our meeting.
9. Do we have rights to print our photos?
Yes you do. The only thing you can't do is sell them for profit or supply them straight to vendors - they need to contact me for that.
10. Can I get albums or framed prints through you?
Yes absolutely. We can talk about prints and albums when we meet up to discuss your wedding plans. I have the options of different sizings and set ups for your walls and also if you needed a wedding album, I have a few suppliers with different styles and prices.
11. Can I see the albums you make and design?
I am working on getting some made but can show you them online for now.
12. Do you do engagement shoots and pre wedding shoots?
Yes. I love them doing these as it's a great time to get to know each other and take away some of those nerves on your wedding day.
13. What does the booking process look like?
It's very straight forward. First you fill out the form on the contact page. We can arrange a meeting where we can discuss what you are wanting. I have packages set, but I do have room to change anything wanted. Once we have discussed this I will send you the quote and if you accept the quote, I make up a contract and send to you to look over.
We'll get together for a coffee after that and go over the contract together and sign it. A couple of weeks before the wedding, we'll discuss all the details of the day (any changes) and that's it.
